Primary Arms Compact PLx 1-8x24 SFP Illuminated ACSS Nova 5.56/.308 Fiber Wire Reticle Rifle Scope

Engineered for professionals, the Low Power Variable Optic (LPVO) riflescope offers variable magnification from 1x to 8x and features a 24 mm objective lens. Outfitted with an advanced illuminated ACSS Nova Fiber Wire reticle in MRAD, positioned in the second focal plane, the scope is equipped with lenses treated with an anti-reflective coating. The tube, crafted from lightweight and robust aluminum, has a 30 mm diameter. Distinguished by a compact build and minimal weight, the optic delivers an expanded field of view. Designed for fast-paced tactical and competitive shooting scenarios.

Durable construction from anodized aluminum

Crafted from lightweight, rugged aluminum and finished with hard anodizing, the main body of the scope offers exceptional resilience. The robust 30 mm diameter tube delivers superior strength and shock resistance, providing reliable protection for the optical system against potential impacts.

Japanese ED glass, nitrogen filling, anti-reflective coating

The tube is purged with dry nitrogen and sealed with O-rings to eliminate internal fogging. Precision-ground lenses crafted from premium Japanese ED glass, coupled with multi-layer anti-reflective coatings, deliver a vivid, high-contrast image with accurate color reproduction across varied lighting conditions. These advanced coatings minimize glare and boost light transmission, ensuring sharp and clear target acquisition regardless of ambient light or the angle of the incoming rays. For rapid adaptation to changing scenarios, a removable lever is integrated into the magnification adjustment ring, making dynamic magnification shifts significantly easier.

ACSS Nova Fiber Wire reticle, intense illumination

The riflescope incorporates an illuminated ACSS Nova Fiber Wire reticle positioned in the second focal plane (SFP), ensuring the reticle's dimensions remain unchanged at all magnification levels. Offering ten brightness settings alongside a night vision-compatible mode, the reticle adapts to various lighting conditions. The AutoLive system powers up the illumination whenever movement is detected, using a single CR2032 battery. Turrets provide reticle adjustment within a 100 MOA range and come in both open and closed configurations with a visible scale, depending on user preferences. Steel On Steel (SOS) technology guarantees reliable and precise turret operation over the product's lifespan, thanks to the use of steel internals.

Red Dot Bright technology delivers a highly visible central point on the reticle, achieving brightness levels on par with collimators and holographic sights at maximum intensity. The prominent aiming dot enables rapid target acquisition at 1× magnification, making the scope well-suited for fast, close-range shooting similar to a collimator. The reticle is specifically calibrated for popular calibers—5.56 NATO/.223 Remington and .308 Winchester—and offers holdover points for trajectory correction at different ranges, greatly simplifying long-distance aiming.

Distance estimation to targets is facilitated by specific reticle elements, which leverage target size for rapid calculation without the need for a rangefinder. MIL scales aligned vertically and horizontally enable accurate compensation for bullet drop and wind drift while maintaining focus through the scope. The reticle also integrates moving target leads, assisting in engaging laterally moving targets by providing intuitive lead indicators. These advanced features render the scope ideal for both fast-paced close-quarters engagements and precise shots at medium to extended distances.

AutoLive feature
AutoLive
AutoLive is an intelligent motion sensor system used in Primary Arms optics that automatically manages the reticle illumination - activating it when the weapon is moved and turning it off when idle. This makes the sight immediately ready for use without the need for manual operation, which increases reliability and extends battery life in tactical and defense applications.
Red Dot Bright feature
Red Dot Bright
Red Dot Bright at Primary Arms refers to the very high brightness of the reticle illumination, which at 1x magnification provides visibility and target acquisition speed comparable to a classic collimator, even in full sunlight.
SOS - Steel On Steel feature
SOS - Steel On Steel
Steel On Steel (SOS) technology in Primary Arms scopes involves the use of steel components in the adjustment turrets, which increases their durability and wear resistance. Unlike brass or plastic-based solutions, steel wears down more slowly, allowing the mechanism to maintain its precision for longer. This translates into more reliable clicks and more stable settings during intensive use.
