I had been considering buying an emergency radio for a long time and chose the Sandberg Survivor All-in-1 4500 FM/DAB. Not every emergency radio can receive digitally broadcast stations (DAB), and that was important to me. In addition, the radio has two power options: AAA batteries and a rechargeable battery, the latter of which can be charged from: a socket, a crank, or a solar panel (probably not very efficient, but it's there). Overall, I recommend this little radio.
Sandberg Survivor All-in-1 4500 FM/DAB Hand-Crank Radio Flashlight with Power Bank Function
Emergency radio equipped with power bank and wireless Bluetooth speaker capabilities. Perfect for outdoor adventures such as hiking, camping, beach outings, or for everyday use in environments without access to external power sources.
FM/DAB+ wavebands, Bluetooth functionality
Engineered for rugged environments, the radio functions on both FM and DAB+ wavebands. The FM reception spans 87.5 - 108.0 MHz, while DAB+ covers 170 - 240 MHz. An LED display clearly presents the current frequency. Superior signal clarity is guaranteed by the integrated telescopic antenna, adjustable in all directions for optimal performance. Outfitted with Bluetooth connectivity, the unit enables wireless music streaming directly from devices such as smartphones.
LED flashlight, SOS signal
Beyond its radio capabilities, the model is equipped with a built-in flashlight featuring 3 90-lumen LEDs. These LEDs operate in both steady and flashing modes, making it possible to emit an SOS signal in Morse code.
Built-in battery, solar panel, hand crank generator
A robust 4500 mAh battery can be recharged either via the integrated solar panel or through a manual hand crank generator. Achieving a full recharge using solar power requires around 80 hours of direct sunlight exposure. Rotating the hand crank for one minute enables approximately 6 minutes of radio functionality. Charging is also supported by an external power source using a USB-C cable, allowing for complete charging in 4 hours. The device also offers the alternative of operating with 3 AAA (LR03) batteries.
Power bank function, battery charge level indicator
Equipped with both USB-A and USB-C ports, the radio functions as a portable backup power bank, providing charging capabilities for most electronic devices, including smartphones, tablets, and notebooks. The model is also fitted with a built-in minijack socket for headphone connectivity. Users are kept informed of battery usage through the charge level indicator. A single full battery charge provides up to 20 hours of continuous radio operation.

Hello. The emergency radio is very nice. It receives DAB and FM stations. It has a flashlight and a night light. It plays loudly and well. It also works with AAA batteries. Lots of cool features.

The radio alarm has many useful features. One drawback is the weak battery, which is not able to last for 2 days on a full charge (without using the device).

The radio is great. The day after receiving it, I took it outdoors. The radio works flawlessly in various field conditions. It's intuitive to use. It has a lot of different functions, like a flashlight—of course, you can't spot animals in an open field with it, but it's certainly useful in camp conditions. The power bank could be a bit bigger by today’s standards, but that was not a priority for me. Additionally, it has several options for powering and charging. At first glance, the crank doesn’t seem like a cheap gimmick. I quickly learned that it really works. I highly recommend this to anyone heading to remote places outside of GSM coverage. Militaria.pl – service, shipping and delivery time: top class.

It works efficiently, worth its price due to the number of functions it offers. It's small and compact, making it fit perfectly into smaller compartments in a backpack.

A great solution if you spend time out of network coverage and want access to the latest information. Compact design and works well. I recommend it.
