For this price, a good tool. It cuts nicely, I hope it stays sharp for a long time. It handles even bigger logs, although of course, you need to invest a bit more time. It bends slightly. I only use one blade setting, the curved one, the other is not very ergonomic for me.

Silky is a Japanese brand of hand saws, founded in 1919 in Ono by Katsuji Miyawaki. For over a hundred years, it has been considered synonymous with precision and reliability, and its saws are distinguished by their high quality. They are made of the highest quality cutlery steel, subjected to impulse hardening technology, and designed for “pull” cutting, which allows for light work and smooth cuts in wood. In 1980, the brand patented its own saw setting process, which significantly improves the sharpness of the teeth; the technology was used in models such as the 4-Retsume and Miraime2. Silky models are used by arborists, foresters, carpenters, and bushcraft enthusiasts around the world. An interesting fact is that the 1985 Silky “Gomboy” saw was the first on the market to have a rubber-coated handle, which distinguished it in the industry and earned it the prestigious Good Design Award in Japan. Thanks to the combination of Japanese craftsmanship and modern technology, Silky has been setting the highest standards in the hand saw segment for decades.

Silky F180-14 Folding Saw - Yellow. Silky cuts even thicker wood and it's a pleasure to watch. You just have to be careful not to break the blade. Other than that, it's a 10/10 product.

Something beautiful. Although it is made mostly of plastic, including the lock button—except, of course, for the saw blade itself—it's a very strong and solid material. The Japanese can make something affordable but still well made. The teeth are densely spaced. It cuts great. This is my third Silky saw and definitely not the last. Very ergonomic, lightweight design.
-
Nice blade, used for gardening and building shelter during field exercises. Easily cuts through sturdy branches and even trunks. It is light and compact, fits in a pocket or drop bag. Good tool, it has become a permanent part of my equipment.
-
The saw is amazing. Light and not too big, but not too small either. You can easily try to cut even solid logs. In short, Silky is a class of its own. I have several of these saws, different kinds, and each one is like a Rolls-Royce among saws.

Cuts like crazy. The blade quality does the job. It cuts well even wet wood. Also suitable for cleanup work in the garden or orchard. The yellow color is a plus in the field—it's hard to lose it.
-
Fantastic. The quality of workmanship is very high as is always the case with Silky. This is already my third folding saw from this company. This one compared to the same red 7.5 has smaller teeth, which leaves a smoother surface after cutting.

This is my first saw of this type. I was very positively surprised. The speed and quality of cutting for such a compact product are amazing. I recommend it to anyone who needs a folding saw for camping or just for the garden.
-
Surprisingly low weight, very comfortable grip, cuts very well—a great addition to the gear. The price for such a product and brand seems very attractive to me—I recommend it.
-
Fantastic. The saw has been tested many times in the field. In this configuration, it is great for dry wood. For very resinous fresh and wet wood, I recommend buying an additional blade. The teeth are one-sided, so the saw cuts only on the pull, but it requires no effort. Tested even on logs up to 13cm in diameter. I recommend it.
-
The three biggest advantages are: light, cheap, and sharp. So far, after a few days of use, I haven't found any flaws. It's important for inexperienced users to use the cutting energy only on the pull stroke, because when pushing, it's easy to bend or break it.
-
Excellent saw. Compact, lightweight. The narrow blade makes a small kerf, which allows it to work very quickly. You just have to remember to work "towards yourself," like with Japanese saws, to avoid bending the blade (irreversibly). I highly recommend it.
