Engineered with the Maksutov optical system, renowned for delivering outstanding image clarity and eliminating chromatic aberrations. The assembly comprises a spherical meniscus corrector made of Kron glass, a primary mirror, and a secondary mirror positioned on the interior of the meniscus.
Featuring a tube with a diameter of 140 mm, a focal length of 1500 mm, and a focuser diameter of 2 inches. Capable of reaching a maximum magnification of 191x. The optical tube is secured on an EQ3-2 parallactic mount, which comes equipped with precision micro-motion controls and durable steel legs. The EQ3-2 mount is compatible with telescopes that use a Vixen-type Dovetail mounting bar.
For terrestrial viewing, a straightening lens is required to correct the inverted image, restoring it to its natural orientation.
