TickLess – ultrasonic tick repellent is a compact, practical device that emits ultrasonic waves at a frequency of 40 kHz, which are imperceptible to humans and animals. These waves interfere with the tick’s ability to sense and find hosts by blocking their sensory receptors, making it difficult for ticks to distinguish potential hosts from the environment.

TickLess Horse is tailored for large animals such as horses and ponies, offering outstanding protection during outdoor activities when exposure to tick bites is heightened.

Ticks detect hosts with the help of the Haller’s organ located on the first pair of legs. The device’s ultrasonic signals efficiently interrupt the sensory function of this organ, hindering stimulus reception by ticks. With an effective protection radius of about 2 meters, TickLess should be attached to the saddle or harness to allow the ultrasonic waves to disperse optimally.

Ticks transmit diseases hazardous to humans, including Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis. Using the TickLess ultrasonic repellent significantly reduces the risk of tick bites, infection, and the associated serious illnesses.

No chemicals are released with this device, making it absolutely environmentally friendly and easy to use. Activate by removing the pin. The flashing LED confirms that TickLess is on and operating. Deactivation is not possible; operational life ranges from 6 to 12 months. To assess battery status, press the button — the LED behind the grill should flash four times. If this does not happen, replacement of the device is necessary.
