For a long time, I was considering buying this stove. So far, I’ve used a Campingaz gas stove. The TRANGIA takes up less space and weighs less than a stove with a gas canister. The fuel for the TRANGIA stove is more easily available and there’s no issue with replacing cartridges. Before each trip, I just fill my fuel bottle to the top and that's it. The downside of this stove is that cooking takes longer than on gas, and in windy weather it takes even longer. Still, the weight, size, the fact that there’s nothing to break in this stove, and no problems with fuel availability mean I won’t be using a gas stove anymore.

Great, if only because it fits in a pot together with the burner. As for wind protection, the claim that it protects against wind gusts is just a lie repeated (after the manufacturer), but it is certainly a lightweight alternative to the Triangle.

The advantages are: + the quality of the stove and the durability of the materials, + the seal’s tightness (if there is fuel left after use, the cooled stove can be sealed with the fuel still inside for a while), + lightweight and compact size, + ease of use, + operates quietly, + if you have excess fuel, the stove can serve as a beautiful romantic "candle" (SERIOUSLY!). The disadvantages are: - sharp edges of the base and lack of a transport case, - impossible to place a 0.7L or smaller cup on the base with a large diameter (made of coal) in this set, - no windscreen, and even when using a pan with a long handle, your hands won’t get cold, - takes longer to cook than a gas stove, - if it tips over, it’s likely to get very hot, - no comprehensive operating instructions in Polish (including info not to refill to the top). Additional information: = fuel consumption depends on how you use it (you won’t know how much fuel to take until you check it yourself—depends on how long you leave the stove with pots, the size of heated portions, the size of the flame, wind force/screen, and ambient temperature). The service at the brick-and-mortar store in Szczecin helped with fulfilling my order, thanks to the staff for the help and all the advice and suggestions.
