A faithful reproduction of the revolver originally produced by the American firm Remington. The 1858 model was the first globally to adopt a closed frame, enhancing structural durability and reliability.
The Model 1858 New Improved Army is a six-shot black powder revolver with a cap-and-ball ignition system. Fitted with a breech-loaded .44 caliber forged steel barrel that measures 8 inches in length.
The closed frame is constructed from cast steel with a black oxidized finish. The grip panels are crafted from walnut wood, and the trigger guard is fashioned from brass.
Mechanical sights consist of a fixed front bow tie and a rear pincer.
The trigger functions in Single Action mode, requiring the hammer to be cocked before each shot. The mechanism allows for two positions: half-cock for seating caps, and full-cock for firing.
A lever-operated loading rammer is mounted beneath the barrel, designed for seating lead bullets into the chambers.
