Faithful reproduction of the legendary Remington Model 1858, originally produced by the renowned American manufacturer. Recognized as the world's first revolver to incorporate a closed frame, significantly enhancing the design’s reliability and durability.
The 1858 New Improved Navy is a percussion-cap revolver with a 6-round capacity, designed for black powder use. It is muzzle-loaded and features a forged steel barrel in .36 caliber, measuring 7 3/8 inches in length.
Featuring a forged steel frame with a blued black finish, the revolver is complemented by walnut wood grip panels. The trigger guard is crafted from brass.
Equipped with fixed mechanical sights, including a front sight and rear sight for improved targeting.
Fitted with a Single Action trigger system, requiring the hammer to be manually cocked prior to firing. The hammer mechanism offers two positions: half-cock, ideal for fitting percussion caps onto the nipples, and full-cock, ready for discharging.
Integrated under the barrel is a hinge-mounted loading lever (rod), intended for pressing lead balls into the cylinder’s chambers.

Uberti is an Italian manufacturer of historical firearm replicas, founded in 1959 in Gardone Val Trompia by Aldo Uberti. The company is famous for its faithful reproductions of revolvers, rifles, and shotguns from the Civil War and the Wild West, which, thanks to modern materials, often surpass the originals in terms of quality. Its replicas have appeared in Sergio Leone's cult westerns, such as “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” and “Once Upon a Time in the West,” as well as in “Dances with Wolves” starring Kevin Costner. Today, Uberti products are prized by collectors and used in Cowboy Action Shooting competitions, where both authenticity and reliability of the weapon are important.

Signed HEGE (although maybe that doesn’t mean much), practically no gap, perfectly aligned. The trigger needs improving (polishing). The grips are thicker and a different shape than earlier productions. The front sight needs filing down (it shoots lower). So far, nothing to complain about. Easier to load than a .44, no recoil when shooting. A bit heavier than the .44. So far I’ve used 13 and 15 gn ZS2 for shooting. Overall OK.

Almost perfect. It was packed carelessly, which caused scraping and a slight bend of the front sight.
-
Beautiful firearm. Very well made in every detail. The revolver is accurate, great purchase!
-
Even more beautiful in person, photos don’t do it justice. A big smile at the shooting range.
-
Beautifully made and solid weapon. At first, only the cylinder exchange may pose some difficulty if you’re not used to it. I recommend it!

First time in hand—a toy I've dreamed of since I was a kid. A beautiful and powerful thing.
-
Professionally made, there is nothing to complain about. Shoots just as a black-powder revolver should. I recommend it.

Something beautiful, the craftsmanship, accuracy, trigger action, IT IS GORGEOUS. After taking it out of the box, you just have to sit down comfortably and admire it for a long while. I RECOMMEND!

I've been shooting the Remington .36 caliber revolver for 2 years, it is very accurate and well-balanced. Additional cylinders increase its rate of fire. I have a lot of experience compared to my many years of owning the Colt Army 1860 .44 caliber. I recommend the Remington, easier to handle, load, and more accurate.
