UF PRO Boonie Cooling Pad for hats - brown-gray

Cooling pad engineered specifically for the UF PRO Striker Gen.3 Boonie Hat. This insert fits into the inner pocket positioned at the crown of the hat, where it plays a crucial role in cooling and maintaining thermal comfort during operations in elevated temperatures.

The accessory functions to reduce heat build-up beneath the headgear during extended field activities or intense sun exposure. To activate the pad, simply soak in water for approximately 1-2 minutes.

The core of the pad utilizes Super Absorbent Fibre, an advanced synthetic material known for its exceptional absorbency. Capable of soaking up liquid up to 200 times its own weight, the fibre's polymer chains extend and expand on contact with water, creating a soft gel matrix that gradually emits a cooling sensation.

Crafted from lightweight yet robust materials in Brown Grey, the model features a head-facing side lined with soft polyester knit, offering a slightly perforated design to enhance comfort. The upper section of the pad is finished with highly durable polyamide for added resistance to wear.
