I haven't had to use the gas in action yet, but keeping it handy increases my sense of security. I got to see its effectiveness when I accidentally got a bit on my fingers—I don't recommend that experience :D That's when I found out I should buy decontamination wipes :)

The version with a nozzle ejects the irritant in cone (cloud) form, which makes it easier to hit a moving target. An additional advantage of this ejection form is the infiltration of the dispersed substance into the attacker's respiratory tract, enhancing the paralyzing effect.
Additionally, the gas contains UV dye, which will allow for easier identification of the aggressor in case they are apprehended by law enforcement. The container is equipped with a button cover limiting the possibility of uncontrolled dispersion of the irritant, the so-called Flip-Top lock.
HOW TO USE
How to use: slide a finger under the flap securing the spray button; in a threatening situation, aim towards the attacker's eye line and firmly press the lever. Spray from a distance no greater than 3 meters. To stop, release the pressure. One-second contact with the substance incapacitates the attacker for about 30 minutes.
The gas ingredients cause temporary impairment of vision due to involuntary eye closure and irritation of the conjunctiva. A secondary effect of gas use is respiratory system irritation.
Pepper gases are non-toxic and environmentally friendly.

I had this gas for two years in a different case version (2.2028), 50ml. Cone stream. I tested this gas in a smaller capacity canister, 16ml. Just a little spray creates a cloud that unpleasantly irritates the eyes and respiratory tract. You have to be careful in the wind. Unfortunately, the 50ml version had a defect. The pull-out pin/trigger button would come loose. The case itself is strong, with a safety lock. The gas fell on concrete many times, the can even dented (visible in the photo), but the gas did not leak. One year.
