I looked for a long time and waited even longer :) I finally bought it, I have it, and I'm satisfied. In my case, it's not on the hips but slung over the shoulder, but that's just how I figured it. I only changed the strap to a longer one because my chest is 'non-standard.' The bag fits a wallet, lighter, tape measure, ArmyTec angle flashlight, pepper spray, full-size titanium cutlery, a pen, and a large 'benek.' The velcro panel holds two morale patches. The bag is the perfect compromise between capacity and size. I don't have to take it off when getting into the car and fastening the seatbelt (and that's important, because if I take it off and set it down, I'll forget and lose it ;) ) I have the black one, and if an orange one appears, I'll buy a second one.
