The switch is made of a material that would only be suitable for a replica; it wouldn't work on a real firearm. However, as I mentioned, on a replica it works – the connections fit without any problem. As for mounting, I had to unscrew it completely and put the switch on the rail, then install the 'grips' from both sides, because even at maximum looseness, it couldn't be mounted on the rail. The positives are definitely the price and functionality. Additionally, the buttons respond immediately with no delay and have minimal resistance so you can feel them click in. The negatives are the material used and the mounting issue. However, you can mount it on the rail with a bit of patience.
