Hydra Knives Final Call V3 Fixed Blade Knife

A sturdy bushcraft knife with a durable and strong full-tang construction, i.e. with the blade's shank passing through the entire handle.

The spear point profile blade is made of Sleipner tool steel, hardened to 60-63HRC. The 5.4mm-thick blade is derived with a Hollow Grind concave grind . The entire blade is coated with a scratch-resistant Black Powder coating. This coating increases resistance to corrosion and reduces glare, which is undesirable in some cases. A properly contoured lower part of the tang protects against sliding of the hand onto the blade.

The handle consists of two facings made of durable and moisture-resistant micarta in orange, which are bolted to the shaft with stainless steel screws. It is ergonomically contoured and provides a very secure grip. At the back of the handle, the knife's shank extends beyond the handle facings and is shaped in the form of a wide nailer, so it can be used for emergency glass breaking and as an additional field tool. There is also a hole on the back of the handle through which a safety line or thong can be threaded.

The bright color of the handle facings makes it much easier to find the knife, for example, when it falls in the grass.

The knife comes with a sturdy scabbard made of Kydex, which provides convenient mounting of the knife at the belt or equipments.
