When preparing your equipment before an airsoft game, ASG magazines can be a key element. The range of equipment prepared for such games is now so wide that choosing the right magazines can prove to be quite a challenge. The most popular division is their different capacities. Some of the most capacious cartridges are referred to as Hi-Cap magazines, their name derives from the abbreviation of the English term High Capacity, which in Polish we can translate as high capacity. This type of magazine is also very often included as basic equipment at the time of purchase of the replica itself. Magazines of this type are particularly popular in fast-firing electric carbines. Thanks to the large number of balls that can fit inside, it is a very convenient solution, especially for those who are starting their adventure.
People who do not yet have much experience in shooting, having magazines with a smaller capacity, by using the trigger a little more intensively, would very quickly get rid of all the bullets from the mounted tray. The most common Hi-Cap magazines have a capacity between 200 and 500 bullets. In order to get a continuous push of bullets out of the magazine towards the gearbox chamber, the shooter has to "crank up" the magazine every now and then, using a special pinion. Connected to the pinion is a feeder spring mechanism, which will push the balls towards the magazine exit. This type of magazine is very often chosen by people who do not like to carry a large number of them, and thanks to the large capacity, they can strongly reduce the amount of equipment carried. Among ASG players, they are referred to as popular rattles, due to the sound produced by a full magazine when running or moving dynamically. Because of the sound produced, Hi-Cap magazines are avoided by those who prefer a more discreet way of playing. An important aspect of choosing the right magazine is to make sure that it will be compatible with our replica. Despite the existence of many replicas of a given carbine, not all magazines will be integral. Due to individual design solutions used by manufacturers, the fit of the charging or bullet release system may be different.
The safest solution will be to use high-capacity magazines manufactured by the same manufacturer that prepared our replica. By choosing magazines in such a way, we will avoid the possibility of a bad fit of the magazine and the bullet jams that can result. In the case of poor availability of magazines from a particular manufacturer, we can look for compatible magazines. Then it is worth paying attention to the placement of the ball exit and the ball release mechanism. Among the available magazines, we will find cheaper versions made of basic composites, as well as models made with greater precision and steel components. Such magazines will be characterized by significantly higher resistance to drops and slightly less delicate treatment. Looking for a magazine compatible with our replica, we encourage you to take a look at the models available at Militaria.pl. We have a wide range of available types of magazines with different capacities for both assault rifles and submachine guns. For those looking for large capacity magazines, we have many models of Hi-Cap magazines, and for those who value the closest possible reproduction of real battlefield conditions, mid-cap and real-cap magazines are available.
