ASG springs and guides designed for tuning or repairing damaged replica weapons. A spring is a component that can be found in spring and electric replicas. In the case of the latter, the spring is an internal component of the gearbox. The decision to replace it, as a rule, is based on the need to increase or decrease the power of the replica. The exit velocity that the spring imparts to the bullet is determined by the designation MXXX, where the value XXX denotes the initial velocity given in meters per second.
Theoretically, a spring labeled M100 gives the bullet a velocity of 100 meters per second, which translates to about 330 FPS of power. The M110 spring, on the other hand, allows the bullet to be fired at 110 meters per second, which should allow it to accelerate to about 360 FPS. In practice, these values may be different, as the discharge speed depends not only on the spring, but also on other parts of the replica and their fit. When choosing a spring, it is worth deciding on products from proven manufacturers. Inferior quality models may wear out faster, which in turn will result in a loss of FPS.
The springs are replaced both to increase and decrease the ball's exit velocity. For safety reasons, replicas assembled with springs that are too strong are not allowed to be played in some games, such as CQB.
