I recommend it, the stock one practically begs to be replaced (it's aluminum and useless), and this massive, heavy one improves the seal and durability of the system. I don't recommend underestimating the possibility of damaging the original during tuning – my attempt to save on this gem ended up with the spring destroying the AP head I had bought because the original cylinder couldn't handle it. It's worth buying overall when tuning. The only downside might be a slight factory smell of weird oil, if that bothers someone :P
