The Air Arms S410 Carbine Right Hand air rifle is part of the most advanced PCP (Pre-Charged Pneumatic) air rifles available. One of its main strengths is its virtually recoil-free operation, which significantly increases shooting precision. In this regard, the S-410 outperforms even the highest quality spring-powered air rifles.
A rifled barrel measuring 395 mm in length, produced in German workshops by Lothar Walther, features a 12-groove right-hand twist with a 450 mm pitch and a choke at the muzzle for excellent shot grouping. The barrel is deeply set in the action, secured by an enhanced eight-point mounting system that eliminates micro-movements relative to the barrel’s axis—critical for maintaining point of impact when calculating drop and windage at extended ranges.
Compressed air tank refilling can be performed with either a manual or electric pump, or a scuba tank. A dedicated connector is included, allowing air charging through both methods. With a full air cylinder, users can fire up to 80 shots before refilling is necessary.
Only dry air should be introduced or transferred into the rifle’s cylinder to guard against corrosion. The tank is designed to remain charged to approximately 30 BAR at all times to ensure self-sealing functionality.
For safety reasons—both for the shooter and the air rifle—the cylinder has an automatic venting function that activates if the pressure exceeds 250 bar, safely releasing excess air. Exceeding this maximum pressure can, in some instances, cause lasting damage.
A pressure gauge is installed on the underside of the stock, providing continuous feedback on current tank pressure.
The S-410 features a 10-pellet magazine, allowing each pellet to be chambered directly from the rotating magazine, improving both rate of fire and overall shooting experience. Pellet loading is straightforward: draw back the bolt—similar to a small-bore carbine—which rotates the magazine by 1/10 turn. Returning the bolt chambers the pellet, preparing the rifle for the next shot.
Mechanical sights are not included; however, a 2-piece 11 mm standard mounting rail is present, permitting the installation of a riflescope.
The trigger unit is designed to be light and extremely responsive, with fully adjustable pull weight and travel to suit the shooter’s preference. Its simple locking mechanism ensures the rifle remains safe during use.
The stock is crafted from solid beech wood with unique grain, reflecting the style of premium hunting rifles. The raised cheekpiece and ergonomic Monte Carlo style stock deliver superior comfort and shooting stability. Low overall weight (3.1 kg) enables accurate aiming with minimal effort.

Air Arms is a British brand operating since 1983, specializing in the production of spring and PCP air rifles. The company quickly gained recognition thanks to the TX200 model, which is still considered one of the best spring air rifles in the world. A distinctive feature of the brand is the use of cold-rolled barrels and precision adjustable trigger mechanisms. Air Arms was one of the first companies to introduce a multi-shot magazine system for PCP air rifles, which significantly increased the comfort and speed of shooting. The brand is associated with award-winning shooters such as Andy Calpin, a legend in the Field Target discipline, and James Osborne, a multiple champion and representative of the world's elite. Series such as the S400, S410, Pro Sport, and HFT 500 are recognized worldwide.
