It's not some high-tech solution, and it does rough up the blade a bit compared to more advanced sharpeners, but it's effective and incredibly easy to use.

Great sharpener. The Pro version offers much better and more solid build quality, so that's the one I chose. It works great, after just a few strokes the knives are sharp. I recommend it.

Looking at the reviews, I expected something better. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The sharpener removes a lot of material from the knife and does not give a "wow" effect. It is suitable for quick sharpening of cheap kitchen knives, but I would not recommend it for heavily blunted knives with damaged edges and would advise buying a sharpening system instead.
