Temperatures and usage conditions
The usage temperatures of the Badger Outdoor TacPak 10T sleeping bag determined according to the EN 13537 standard:
- T-comfort: +9 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the night,
- T-limit: +4 deg. C - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -4 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which one can survive in the sleeping bag. This is not a recommended value for standard use.
Durable 190T polyester, synthetic insulation
The sleeping bag is made of high-quality 190T polyester - both inside and out. The outer polyester layer is durable and resistant to abrasion, making it perfect for outdoor conditions. The inner side is also 190T polyester, which provides high comfort due to its soft and pleasant-to-touch texture.
The sleeping bag filling consists of synthetic fiber with a grammage of 200 g/m2, which retains heat well even on colder nights. Additional quilting of the outer fabric prevents the filling from shifting and ensures even distribution of thermal insulation throughout the sleeping bag's surface.
Zipper on the left side
The sleeping bag is equipped with a zipper placed on the left side, facilitating quick entry and exit. The large size of the sleeping bag - 220 cm in length and 75 cm in width - makes it suitable for people of various heights and builds.
The entire bag is finished in black color, blending into the natural surroundings. Two small loops are placed on the outer side of the sleeping bag, near the feet, allowing for easy hanging and airing of the sleeping bag.
Integrated hood protecting against cold

It is SUPER for this price. That means it is small and easy to transport, pleasant to the touch, comfortable, but... a bit not warm enough on cold nights. This can be worked around with thermal clothing and by finding a balance between a super comfortable sleeping bag in which you can sleep naked and one that is easy to transport and store but not very “warm.”

For this price, it’s a really solid sleeping bag — it’s relatively light and easy to pack, but it’s not suitable for camping during severe frosts because it wasn’t designed for that. It will work well for trips with overnight stays under a roof or in summer.

I used it for 1.5 months. The temperature rating given by the manufacturer may somewhat match reality if you are fully dressed. I used it with the window open, sleeping only indoors, and if it was below 14 degrees, there was already a problem sleeping in just a T-shirt and underwear. In a sweatshirt and some pants, it was already comfortable at 10 degrees outside. There was no problem with the zipper, but the Velcro that keeps the zipper from coming undone at night quickly starts to fray—I think that if I had used it every day for another week or two, it would already be gone. The sleeping bag is generally roomy, which has its pros and cons. The advantage is that there is room for an extra blanket inside if it is too cold. The downside is that the "hood" actually (despite the drawstring) is not really usable, because it is so loose that it is either uncomfortable or falls off the head. Although because it is so loose, I used it as extra cover for my shoulders when it was too cold. Overall, the sleeping bag is good for that price, but only for very mild conditions.

The sleeping bag is light and easy to pack, but the claimed comfort temperature of 9°C seems hardly credible. I spent my first night in it at exactly 9°C, with no rain, and even so I was very cold and found it hard to fall asleep. It is not worth using it below that temperature, because you can get seriously cold. In my opinion, it is best to treat 9°C as an absolute limit, so for future trips I will have to buy a different sleeping bag.

This is a very light and handy sleeping bag, carefully made. In my opinion, it is comfortable to sleep in at temperatures of 15 degrees and above, because at around 10 degrees I felt cold. Of course, this may be an individual matter. Nevertheless, I think it is worth buying at this price.
