Something that everyone should always have with them… Lightweight, takes up very little space, and yet is extremely functional. The NRC foil can be useful during emergencies to provide comfort and safety to the injured person, as well as to ourselves in case of a sudden change in temperature or if we have a car breakdown in winter and have to wait for roadside assistance. It takes up much less space in the trunk than a sleeping bag. It’s worth keeping that in mind. It protects against cold, rain, and wind. A good quality NRC foil should be durable enough to carry an injured person, like a stretcher. Is this one similar? I haven’t checked that yet. The only downside I noticed is that it's one-sided… A standard NRC foil should be silver on one side and gold on the other. We cover the injured person with the silver side if we want to keep them warm, or with the gold side if we want to protect them from overheating, for example, someone lying in the sun when we can't provide shade.

I bought this product for my first aid kit and I really like it because it can be folded down to very small dimensions. Although I haven't had the chance to use it yet, I was pleasantly surprised by its sturdiness after unpacking. I hope I never have to use this rescue blanket, but I am confident that in case of emergency or if I meet someone needing support, I always have it on hand in my backpack.

You could say it's a typical foil, but a plus is that it's well packed, doesn't take up much space, can really save your skin, doesn't tear like other foils, and the price is decent.

A foil is a foil, it's always advisable to have one, whether in your backpack when traveling or in a first aid kit. No complaints, everything seems fine with it.
