The illuminated display ensures easy operation of the walkie-talkie even in low-light environments. Enhanced nighttime usability is provided by the integrated LED flashlight.

Power for a single radio unit is supplied by either a 3.7 V 1400 mAh rechargeable battery or 3 x AA batteries. An automatic battery saving feature extends operational time. A low battery indicator is also integrated into the walkie-talkie.
