Great model, looks great and works great. Definitely a knife 100% worth recommending. Basically no drawbacks. At most, you might consider whether to choose this version with aluminum handles or those made of another material, but these are purely aesthetic considerations.
Lightweight and robust folding knife crafted for everyday carry (EDC), ideal for use in both domestic tasks and outdoor pursuits.
Featuring a blade with a Reverse-Tanto profile, forged from premium CPM-S30V stainless steel boasting a hardness of 58-60 HRC. Produced using powder metallurgy techniques, the steel offers superior corrosion resistance, outstanding edge retention, straightforward sharpening, and notable resistance to chipping. The spine of the handle includes jimping, ensuring a secure thumb rest during use.
Ambidextrous thumb stud enables easy blade deployment. For added safety, a reliable Axis Lock mechanism uses a pin, tensioned by dual springs, to prevent unintentional blade opening.
Scales on the ergonomically-shaped handle are constructed from green anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, with assembly secured by Torx screws.
A spring-loaded clip enables convenient attachment to a belt or pocket. The reversible design allows for tip-up positioning, accommodating both left- and right-handed users.

Benchmade Knife Company is an American brand founded in 1988 by Les de Asis in Oregon, with roots dating back to the 1970s when it operated as Bali-Song. The company became famous for producing folding and combat knives, and its butterfly logo refers to the first balisong models, which were awarded the title of Knife of the Year in 1979. Today, Benchmade manufactures knives in three lines: Blue Class, Black Class, and Gold Class, using modern powder steels such as S30V, M390, and CPM-20CV, and the patented Axis Lock, valued for its reliability and smooth operation. Among the brand's icons are the Griptilian, Bugout, 940 Osborne, Infidel, and Bushcrafter models, and the company regularly collaborates with renowned knifemakers such as Mel Pardue, Warren Osborne, and Ernest Emerson. Benchmade was the first knife manufacturer in the US to implement fully automated CNC production, achieving unprecedented precision and repeatability in the industry.

Very good proportion of blade length to handle. Practically unheard of among competitors. Classic model. One star less for the price set by the manufacturer. Daily use as an EDC knife is unfortunately a bit stressful. I once left it outside, not remembering exactly where. I found it only after 20 minutes. Those were terrible 20 minutes. Since then, it sits on the shelf, and as an EDC I use knives costing a maximum of 100 - 120 PLN.

An absolute classic when it comes to Benchmade knives, great materials and very good ergonomics. The quality is of course at the highest level, the handle is aluminum but the entire surface is matte, which makes it sit very securely in the hand. Superb option for EDC.

This is a knife that will stay with me for a long time: great ergonomics, weight, very good and cool steel (in my opinion even better than MagnaCut), an outstanding and practical blade shape, plus the use of G10 scales in such a knife creates an amazing combination for an EDC knife.

Beautiful knife. In person, it feels amazingly good in the hand, and the carbon fiber shines beautifully in the sun. Great steel and workmanship. Top tier when it comes to American knives.
-
My first knife from Benchmade and so far I am satisfied: solid construction, great steel, solid workmanship. The carbon looks very good in person, much better than on the website. The only downside is the price.

If I could give 11/5 I wouldn't hesitate for a second! The most beautiful little marvel in aluminum that I own, supposedly the green color is calming... but not for me when I'm clicking it. I highly recommend it to everyone!

One of the best models from Benchmade. I have been using it for almost two years every day. In my opinion, the G10 version is better than the aluminum one – it's lighter and better balanced. The blade is quite thick, so it's durable, but it cuts worse than a typical Swiss Army knife or knives from Spyderco.

Very nice knife for EDC. The materials it's made from and the profile of this Benchmade make it a universal folder, good for outdoor use and for use at home or at work. S30V is a very good steel, perfectly suited for this model, and the blade in a reverse modernized tanto style fulfills many purposes. The best money I've ever spent.

The knife is made of very good materials, fits perfectly in the hand, and the mechanics are a dream.
-
Great knife, like every Benchmade. The Axis lock is a joy to click. I recommend it.
-
Beautifully made, the titanium thumb studs are impressive. I recommend it.

The knife is a masterpiece. Probably one of the best designs released.
