For military boots, it's excellent. Provides great protection against water. You shouldn't apply too much because it's extremely efficient. Leaves a moisturized, matte surface. The leather becomes soft and visibly nourished. I've been using it for two years on my leather Lowa boots with Gore-Tex membrane, and the shoes look like new. Fantastic.

I bought it enticed by the low price. The product is noticeably worse than other polishes I have used before. It leaves streaks, is harder to apply, and harder to remove when polishing. The black color becomes matte after application. Maybe for military shoes this polish is sufficient, but I wanted a universal product, and at least with this polish, I can't get dress shoes to look nice.
