Berghaus Tactical MMPS Vulcan V IR Backpack 80 + 20 l - MultiCam

Tactical backpack designed in the MMPS (Multi Mission Pack System), offering a total capacity of 100 l (80 + 20 l). Manufactured from abrasion- and tear-resistant 1000D Armadura fabric in MultiCam camouflage, it features a spacious main compartment, multiple pockets, and versatile attachment points. The material incorporates IR technology, reducing detectability under residual light amplifiers (night vision devices).

Capacious main compartment, detachable side pockets

Featuring a classic expandable construction with a two-compartment straightforward internal configuration and dual top and bottom entry points, the backpack provides versatile storage. The main compartment includes a drawstring closure, a dedicated sleeve for a hydration reservoir, and two attachment loops for FLT (Fight Light Pack System) accessories. A removable top lid incorporates an oversized external pocket along with gear securing straps. Elasticated chimney edges enable convenient transport of bulkier items like a sleeping pad or foldable mattress.

Equipped with two removable MMPS side pouches each offering 10 liters of capacity, these pockets can be joined together to form an independent daypack.

MOLLE/PALS webbing, attachment points

Multiple attachment options, including MOLLE/PALS system webbing, straps with quick-release buckles, and mounting points for ice axes or skis, significantly enhance overall versatility across diverse terrain conditions.

Cyclops II carrying system, ergonomic straps and carry handles

The Cyclops II carrying system incorporates a lightweight aluminum frame that enhances support and stability on hikes while maintaining the pack’s structural integrity. Ergonomically contoured shoulder straps along with hip and chest straps deliver exceptional comfort for the wearer. Multiple adjustment options allow for a personalized fit to the user’s body shape. The hip belt features a robust BergBuckle for added security.

Convenient carry handles positioned on both the front and rear facilitate easy lifting and transportation of the backpack.

Camouflage MultiCam

MultiCam stands as an advanced camouflage pattern, engineered in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior initiative. Designed to deliver effective concealment across diverse terrains and shifting environmental settings, the MultiCam pattern incorporates seven distinct colors, blending gradients of green, brown, and beige. This enables seamless adaptation to the surrounding landscape, displaying green tones in wooded areas and transitioning to browns and beiges in arid or desert conditions—proving especially effective during autumn and in regions characterized by dry vegetation in Central and Eastern Europe. MultiCam has earned international acclaim and has been adopted by various military and special operations units worldwide. In 2010, the US Army officially selected this camouflage for soldiers deployed in Afghanistan, replacing the Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Civilian enthusiasts, including those involved in military activities and airsoft, also benefit from the accessibility of this sought-after pattern.
