D2 tool steel

Forged from D2 tool steel, regarded as semi-stainless, the blade delivers enhanced resistance to corrosion, exceptional wear resistance, and retains a sharp, resilient edge. Following the hardening process, hardness levels reach 57-62 HRC, ensuring prolonged sharpness during heavy-duty application.

Equipped with a Drop-Point profile, the blade measures 90 mm in length and 3.5 mm in thickness. Featuring a smooth cutting edge and finished with a flat grind, the blade is enhanced by a satin finish that imparts a semi-matte, uniform texture to the blade surface. This treatment improves camouflage and offers enhanced resistance to light scratches encountered during use. Additional jimping at the thumb rest on the spine increases control and precision when handling the tool.

Ergonomic handle features two scales secured to the chassis with screws. Constructed using G10 laminate, the knife remains both lightweight and exceptionally durable. The coarse texture and profiled finger grooves ensure a reliable grip, even in situations where hands are wet or dirty.

A spring-steel clip allows for easy portability by fastening the knife to a belt, pocket, or various gear. A hole at the base of the handle accommodates a lanyard or tether for added versatility.

Liner Lock, flipper and thumb hole

Blade deployment is achieved via a flipper, which also functions as a compact cross guard upon opening, providing protection against the fingers slipping onto the blade or into the thumb hole. A ball bearing integrated into the knife’s pivot axis ensures a smooth opening action. Once open, the blade is securely locked in place with a Liner Lock.

D2 is a high-carbon tool steel classified as semi-stainless, characterized by high wear resistance and the ability to maintain a thin, durable edge. It achieves a hardness of 57-62 HRC, which ensures long-lasting sharpness even with intensive use. Its chemical composition is a precisely selected combination of elements: carbon (1.4-1.6%), chromium (11-13%), molybdenum (up to 0.8%), vanadium (up to 1%), manganese (up to 1%), and silicon (up to 1%). The high carbon and chromium content ensures hardness and wear resistance, while molybdenum and vanadium improve the strength and durability of the cutting edge. Although D2 steel is not completely stainless, its corrosion resistance is sufficient to meet the requirements of most conditions of use. It is widely used in the production of mid-range and high-end knives, including handmade knives and cutting tools.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.

Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.

    Very beautiful and good knife. Quite light and well balanced, sharp out of the box and opens smoothly. The one thing is the clip is stiff and it's hard to take it out of your pants after attaching it to the clip, but apart from that it's great.

    A phenomenal knife. Large, massive blade, factory sharp as a razor. The knife itself is excellently made and fitted together. Additionally, a beautiful handle in a white color that matches the black blade for a nice contrast. The mechanics and smoothness of operation are flawless; everything works perfectly. Only the clip could be double-sided. I recommend it!

    Beautiful knife, great mechanics. Size is just right— not too small, still handy. The only thing worth noting is that it sticks out a lot from the pocket— long and sharply ended back combined with the clip gives that effect. Absolutely worth recommending.
