The stun gun was bought mostly to use as a flashlight, charging is fine, the 3 lighting modes are as described. However, since it is a stun gun... The sound alone when turning it on is enough to scare someone, and I think it would only need to be used if necessary, I haven't tested its "attack power." Looks as in the photos.

We bought one like this for a friend's birthday and had a lot of fun with it. He still sometimes takes it with him and we play with it. It doesn't really make anyone collapse when shocked, but it's really scary.

I bought this flashlight with a stun gun. Out of the box, neither the flashlight nor the stun gun function worked. I plugged it in for charging. After a few hours, the stun gun started working, but the flashlight didn't. I sent it back under warranty. I received a working one, but... with a barely-attached, loose button for the stun gun. In my opinion, there was a risk it would fall off at the slightest opportunity, and I need reliable equipment. Obviously, when the second flashlight was shipped, the warehouse messed up and sent it to my home address instead of a parcel locker. (The first time I chose a parcel locker, and that's what should've been done.) Yes, someone at the warehouse made a mistake, and it went to my home address. Of course, the courier didn't find me at home and... the package went to the neighbors without a pickup code. This second one was also returned due to the loose button. I received a refund, because I didn’t believe that the third time would be okay. Maybe that's why they're discounted.

The battery holds poorly. After not even a month, you have to check and recharge it, otherwise the stun gun won't work. 3 hours of charging and the stun gun just makes a "buzz" and that's it. The flashlight works fine. With such unreliable stun gun operation and weak "battery," it is not worth buying. It might be needed and then it fails. 2 stars only because the flashlight is nice.

Like the Thunder model, the controls take some practice to allow a quick draw of the device and they couldve been designed better, but for the price and such a strong zap, I can´t complain. The clip and bigger surface are a bonus vs the Thunder model. Happy zapping!

The flashlight is very powerful. Very useful in complete darkness. I haven't tested the stun gun and I hope I won't have to.

The flashlight is very well made, lights up the area very well, and has a decent range, which is a plus. The stun gun is fine and scares off just with the sound.
