Boker Plus Kwaiken Grip Auto Spring-Assisted Knife - Black
EDC spring knife (Everyday Carry), inspired by traditional Japanese knives, designed by American knifemaker Lucas Burnley. The Straight Back blade profile is made from D2 steel, known for its high wear resistance, with its surface coated with a black protective coating. The handle is made of lightweight aluminum. The knife features an automatic opening mechanism, activated by a button located on the handle, which also serves as a Button Lock to secure the blade in the open position.
D2 tool steel
The blade is made from D2 tool steel, valued for its high cutting aggression and good wear resistance. After proper heat treatment, it achieves a hardness level of 57–62 HRC, ensuring long-lasting sharpness even with intensive use. Although D2 steel is not fully stainless, its corrosion resistance is sufficient for everyday use.
Sleek blade with a Straight Back profile
A sleek blade with a Straight Back profile measuring 85 mm in length and 3.2 mm in thickness features a smooth cutting edge finished with a flat grind. This geometry ensures good control over cutting and performs well in tasks requiring precision. The blade's surface is covered with a black protective coating that reduces light reflections and increases corrosion resistance.
Aluminum handle, deep-carry clip
The handle is made of lightweight aluminum covered with a black coating. A distinct anti-slip texture allows for a secure grip even with wet or dirty hands. Everyday carry is facilitated by a springy, steel deep-carry clip, allowing the knife to be attached to a belt or pocket edge. At the end of the handle, there is a lanyard hole.
Spring mechanism activated by a button
The blade opens automatically when the button on the handle is pressed, releasing the spring mechanism. The same button functions as a Button Lock, securing the blade in the open position and allowing safe use of the knife.
attention!
Polish law imposes no restrictions on knife opening mechanisms. Other countries may have regulations restricting or prohibiting the carrying of certain types of knives - if traveling abroad with a knife, it is advisable to familiarize yourself with them.
