Achromatic refractor with an objective lens diameter of 90 mm and a focal length of 1000 mm.
This refracting telescope gathers 162x more light than the human eye at night. It is mounted on an alt-azimuth mount, and the whole set is light enough to allow easy movement to other locations, for example away from artificial light sources, which have a negative effect on nighttime sky observation. The image seen is bright and high-contrast.
