Solid baton, the handle grips securely, the construction doesn't creak, so it can be relied on in a crisis. It unfolds quickly and locks firmly, sits well in the hand even with a damp grip, and its build gives a sense of durability.

Very good baton, indeed relatively lightweight, small in size – ideal for concealed carry. Big plus for the ring at the end, which allows you to draw it faster from a pocket or waist bag. I am very satisfied with it.

Very solidly made, from good steel like all Cold Steel products. Handy size for everyday carry; hopefully, it won't be needed, but ... better to have and not need than to need and not have. Ideal for 'operations in confined spaces' where there’s no room for 'long equipment' and for repelling an attack by surprising the assailant, who will feel it before realizing it’s there. Although it is the most expensive among 12" telescopic batons, I think it's worth its price. I will buy a second one for collecting purposes, which will join my weapons on display.
