Cold Steel Gentlemen's Stockman Folding Knife 8Cr13MoV - Blue Bone
Classic EDC folding knife crafted for daily carry, featuring a refined, traditional design. The Gentlemen's Stockman variant incorporates three blades, each with a unique profile (Clip-Point, Spey-Point, and Sheepsfoot), ensuring versatility across a wide range of applications. Constructed from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and finished with a satin polish, the blades deliver both durability and elegance. Opening is achieved through nail nicks, adhering to a timeless mechanism. The handle, fashioned from natural bone and accented with metal bolsters, not only enhances the knife’s classic aesthetic but also offers a secure, comfortable hold.
8Cr13MoV stainless steel
Forged from Chinese stainless steel 8Cr13MoV, the blades deliver an optimal combination of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and sharpening convenience. When properly heat-treated, they reach a hardness of 56-58 HRC.
3 blades with Clip-Point, Spey-Point, and Sheepsfoot profiles
Outfitted with three separate blades: Clip-Point, Spey-Point, and Sheepsfoot, the knife provides versatility for various tasks. Every blade features a plain cutting edge to deliver optimal accuracy and user comfort. The blades boast a satin finish, resulting in a semi-matte appearance and heightened resistance to wear and scratches. Nail nicks ensure easy deployment of each blade.
handle made from natural bone with metal bolsters
A handle crafted from natural bone delivers an elegant, timeless appearance while highlighting the model’s character. Every knife stands out with a distinctive material texture that’s characteristic of natural elements. Metal bolsters enhance overall strength, optimize balance, and contribute a refined, traditional touch. The handle’s slender profile offers a secure hold and makes pocket carry convenient.
Slip Joint lock
Featuring a classic Slip Joint lock, the knife relies on a tension spring to secure the blade in both open and closed positions. While the design does not provide a fully rigid blade lock, it offers enough resistance during operation to ensure safe, precise control.

My little discovery of this year. Bought with the thought: I'll see and send it back. It stayed permanently on my belt. It evokes a huge nostalgia for 'grandfather's knife.' It's the cheapest piece in my collection but one that makes me smile and feel very satisfied. I made a pancake-style sheath for it myself and I'm thrilled. It's not a knife for prying doors or batoning, but it's still more than sufficient. And with three blades, it allows for long work without sharpening.
