A meticulously crafted and fully operational replica of a traditional Middle Eastern sword, offering an outstanding blend of collectible display value and a keen, functional blade.

Robust construction paired with a professionally heat-treated blade made of 1055 spring steel ensures optimal durability for practicing power, executing precise cuts, and engaging in contact fencing bouts.
Featuring a wooden handle with enamel finish, securely attached to a steel tang running through the blade, plus reliable hand protection from a straightforward brass crossguard.
A leather scabbard, elegantly enhanced with brass appointments, accompanies the saber.

WARNING! Prior to any sparring with a training partner, the blade must be dulled, since the Cold Steel Shamshir arrives sharpened and may cause serious or even fatal injuries during combat if left as-is.

Quite cheap, so you can forgive slight imperfections (the guard protrudes more on one side, which rubbed my left hand's finger, but now it’s not a bother). Sharp and light, although I had to get used to the very forward balance. The black and gold scabbard looks wonderful.

A beautifully made replica of a cult saber. Bought as a gift and it was a hit, the recipient was delighted. High quality workmanship and good materials. Fast shipping, I recommend it.

If someone is looking for a light, handy, ready-sharpened saber for cutting training with a scabbard included—all at a low price—this is the perfect choice. I recommend it to everyone.

A stunning saber. The first thing you notice is how light it is. As a big plus, which is not so obvious, it comes with a high-quality scabbard. I don't know if it's real leather, but it gives that impression. There is no wooden strip inside, it bends sideways, so it won’t break. The blade is very sharp and preserved. The hilt is decorated, as are the scabbard fittings, which is not shown in the offer. I expected a cool saber, but I think I got an even better one.

The steel is far from the Damascus original (at least 6HRC), but the price is affordable. No false edge, which may be true to the original. Historically universal design. Packed, preserved, sharpened. Tip is a needle, old tomato's skin cuts when you slide it but not under pressure—and a razor couldn't do it either. Aesthetics: better than in the pictures (decorations on the brass). Pleasure: like a Pole who takes a saber in hand - you know^^.

The saber differs slightly from the one in the pictures - it is a new model of shamshir with a decorated guard and scabbard fittings. The weapon is very well made, I didn’t notice any looseness or imperfections on the blade, hilt, or scabbard – supposedly mass-produced, but of truly high quality. The blade is flexible, well-hardened and is immediately well sharpened for cutting. The construction and weight of the saber allow effective cuts from the wrist - Zabłocki would be pleased :) RECOMMEND!!!

Great gear, looks beautiful on the wall, and its functionality (cuts nails) surpasses the quality of blades made in Golub-Dobrzyń. It's perfectly balanced, I consider the purchase very successful.
