Cold Steel Trapper 8Cr13MoV Folding Knife - Yellow Bone

A classic EDC folding knife whose appearance and construction are inspired by classic trapper knives. The Trapper model features two blades with different profiles (Clip-Point, Spey-Point), making it a versatile tool for a wide range of tasks. The blades are made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and finished with a satin polish. The knife opens in the classic manner, using fingernail notches. The natural bone handle, complemented by metal bolsters, gives the knife an elegant look while ensuring a comfortable grip.

The blades are made of Chinese 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, which offers a good balance between edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. After proper heat treatment, it achieves a hardness in the range of 56–58 HRC.

The knife is equipped with two independent blades: Clip-Point and Spey-Point, allowing you to adapt the tool to a specific task. Each 84-mm-long blade features a smooth cutting edge, ensuring precision and comfort during use. The blades are finished with a satin finish, which gives them a semi-matte surface and increases their resistance to scratches. Finger notches make it easy to open the blade.

The knife's handle is made of natural bone, which gives it an elegant, classic look and highlights the model's character. Each piece is distinguished by the material's unique texture, typical of natural materials. The design is complemented by metal bolsters, which reinforce the construction, improve the knife's balance, and lend it an aesthetic, traditional form. The slender profile of the handle ensures a comfortable grip and makes it easy to carry in a pocket.

The knife is equipped with a classic slip joint lock, which uses a tension spring to hold the blade in either the open or closed position. This mechanism does not lock the blade rigidly in place, but provides adequate resistance during use, which promotes safe and controlled handling.
