This is a very typical softshell jacket, the kind you really wear often. It provides great protection against wind, and also works well in light rain—you can go out without worry. It's very suitable for the city: it looks elegant, the black color matches everything, and you don't feel like it's a typical "tourist armor." On the plus side, it's comfortable—it doesn't restrict movement, it's easy to raise your arms, ride a bike, or carry a backpack. However, in heavy rain, it eventually becomes soaked, as it's not actually a rain jacket. It also doesn't provide warmth on its own, so on cold days it's worth wearing a fleece or something warmer underneath. To sum up, it's a very successful jacket for spring and autumn and for those days when the weather is unpredictable.
