The jacket is great, tested during frost, autumn rain, snow, and on a normal day. The membranes work as described, the dimensions given in the description were accurate. I bought it in size XXL.
Columbia Oak Harbor II Insulated Waterproof Jacket - Collegiate Navy
Hooded jacket crafted from abrasion-resistant polyester, enhanced with a Rip-Stop weave for added durability. Outfitted with a waterproof Omni-Tech membrane and lined with Omni-Heat Infinity for superior heat retention. The exterior has an additional waterproof coating to shield against moisture and dirt. Inside, synthetic Thermarator down delivers exceptional thermal insulation.
Damage-resistant polyester, rip-stop weave and DWR impregnation
The upper section is crafted from robust, tear-resistant polyester, offering reliable protection against wind and moisture. Reinforced with thicker Rip-Stop weave threads, the fabric features a grid structure that strengthens the material and stops any damage from spreading further. The exterior is finished with a DWR protective coating, safeguarding the surface against light rainfall and dirt.
Omni-Tech waterproof membrane and Omni-Heat Infinity lining
Equipped with a modern microporous Omni-Tech membrane and sealed seams, the jacket delivers a robust water resistance rating of 10000 mm/m2 and breathability of 10000 g/m2. These features ensure reliable protection and optimal comfort, making the jacket an ideal option for rapidly changing weather conditions.
Featuring a thermoreflective lining that utilizes advanced Omni-Heat Infinity technology with golden dots, the design reflects body-generated heat back to the wearer, helping to retain warmth inside the jacket. The lining also promotes effective moisture wicking to the fabric’s surface, which is crucial for maintaining comfort during strenuous outdoor pursuits.
Thermarator synthetic filling for thermal comfort
The Thermarator synthetic insulation is crafted from recycled polyester fibers, providing excellent thermal comfort and maintaining thermal insulation even when exposed to moisture. Reliable warmth is ensured, even in cold and damp conditions. Distinguished by its elasticity and lightweight construction, the insulation allows the jacket to offer superior protection against low temperatures while remaining light on the body and delivering outstanding wearing comfort.
four pockets for storing accessories
Featuring two traditional pockets, the jacket offers reliable hand protection against cold weather. Essential items can be securely kept in the chest pocket as well as the interior pocket. Each pocket is secured with a zipper closure.
Zipper, adjustable hood and cuffs, drawstring at bottom
The jacket features a zipper closure, which is further reinforced with a Velcro strip and finished with a stand-up collar secured by a snap button to shield the neck against wind. A hood with adjustable fit efficiently shields the head from rain, while cuffs with Velcro adjustment and a bottom drawstring enable a customized fit to the wearer’s silhouette. The relaxed cut ensures unrestricted mobility, and the extended back panel offers enhanced protection from drafts.

DWR (Durable Water Repellency) is a durable waterproofing treatment that increases the surface tension of water and creates a hydrophobic coating on materials. It protects the material from rapid soaking, improves drying, provides stain resistance and increases breathability.
Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.
Omni-Heat is a type of technology based on a specialized garment finish that helps maintain optimal thermal regulation and enables efficient moisture wicking. It is applied to the lining of the garment in the form of a matrix made of 35% aluminum dots that reflect the heat generated by the body and 65% breathable fabric.
Omni-Tech is a technology that relies on a microporous, breathable membrane to provide water resistance of 10000 mm/m2 and DWR-coated sealed seams. Efficient wicking of moisture to the outside keeps you feeling dry and comfortable.
Thermarator is a synthetic insulation material that mimics the properties of natural down, providing high thermal efficiency. It is characterized by excellent heat retention, lightweight and moisture resistance. Thanks to its resilience and durability, the material guarantees thermal comfort even in harsh conditions, while allowing full freedom of movement.

I bought it specifically for the mountains so it would keep me warm and withstand winter conditions. It is very warm, and even during a snowstorm it didn’t get wet. Świnica was conquered at a perceived -30°C, and I only had thermal underwear and a fleece under it. I recommend it.
