Defcon 5 Lynx Outdoor Trousers - OD Green
Trousers in green designed for intensive use in the field, during outdoor activities and tasks requiring full freedom of movement. The well-thought-out design combines flexible Rip-Stop weave fabric, a functional pocket layout, robust YKK zippers and Cordura reinforcements in areas exposed to wear.
cotton, polyester and spandex in rip-stop weave
The trousers are made from a blend of 53% cotton, 44% polyester and 3% spandex. Cotton ensures breathability and wearing comfort, polyester increases the fabric's durability, and the addition of spandex gives it stretch, which makes movement easier. The material is sewn in a Rip-Stop weave with a characteristic checked structure.
The reinforced fibre structure reduces the risk of small tears getting bigger. The fabric combines durability with flexibility, making the trousers suitable for intensive activities without restricting freedom of movement.
Pockets and equipment organisation
The trousers are equipped with 6 pockets arranged across three zones. 2 slanted front pockets provide quick access to the most frequently used small items. One pocket on each thigh allows items to be carried separately and reached conveniently while moving (both thigh pockets are closed with zippers).
2 rear pockets are also fastened with zippers, which helps protect their contents from accidentally falling out. The pockets feature Cordura reinforcements, increasing their resistance to wear in heavily used areas.
YKK zippers make the pockets easier to use and allow carried items to be secured quickly. The pocket layout provides a practical division of space for essential equipment.
Reinforcements in areas exposed to wear
A double layer of fabric in the rear part of the trousers and near the leg ends reinforces areas particularly exposed to friction and contact with the ground. The additional layers increase the durability of the construction during movement in the field and when performing tasks that require frequent bending or working in various positions.

The elastic waistband allows the trousers to be adjusted to the body shape and helps keep them in place during movement. Loops allow a belt to be worn, and the front fastening based on a zipper and button stabilises the construction at the waist.
