EDCX Paracord Pedometer - Black

A terrain pace counter made of durable Paracord 550 cord and wooden beads, designed for manually recording the distance covered while marching. The loop allows the pace counter to be hung on the wrist or attached to a belt, backpack, or other piece of equipment. The simple, battery-free system makes it possible to track distance in the field, on the trail, or during operations when the use of electronics is difficult.

The design includes sliding beads divided into two sections:

• the first section contains 9 beads for marking distance in hundreds of meters (from 100 to 900 m)
• the second section has 4 beads used to mark full kilometers

After covering successive sections, move a bead in the appropriate section to keep track of the distance covered on an ongoing basis.
