Esbit Sculptor Food Jug 750 ml - Black

Thermal flask with a 750 ml capacity, engineered for transporting food. Constructed from premium, BPA-free stainless steel. The matte, non-slip surface ensures a secure hold, even when wearing heavy gloves. The wide opening allows for effortless filling and easy cleaning.

High thermal insulation, safety valve, thermal test

Featuring advanced thermal insulation, the model effectively maintains both hot and cold contents, while offering exceptional resistance to mechanical impacts.

To fully harness the capabilities of the food thermos, Esbit recommends “formatting” it before use. When intending to store hot foods, preheat the thermos by filling it with hot water for approximately 4 minutes, then empty it before adding food. For cold contents, follow the same procedure using very cold water. This preparation ensures optimal temperature retention over extended periods.

An innovative safety valve button is incorporated into the lid’s design; pressing it prior to unscrewing releases any excess pressure that often accumulates with hot meals or liquids. This feature significantly reduces the chance of the lid popping off or hot steam causing contents to splatter.

After filling with water at 98ºC, internal temperature was measured as follows:
* 6 hours – 70ºC
* 12 hours – 60ºC
* 24 hours – 40ºC
Measurements were performed at an ambient temperature of 20ºC (+/- 2ºC).

    I'm a bit disappointed. Before loading, I pour boiling water to heat it up, put in hot food, and after 4 hours it's already cold. In the future, I’ll take the 0.5 one because this one is a bit too tall. The lid and bottom bend at the edges. So a model with a more rounded shape would be just right.
