Seamless cold-drawn tubing made from CSN 12060 = CK55 - DIN 17200, C55E - EN 10083-1 + A1 grade Cro-Mo 4130 steel forms the core structure of the baton segments. Owing to the presence of chromium and molybdenum, the steel delivers exceptional resistance to tensile, bending, and breaking stresses. Each baton segment features a durable black nickel-zinc (Ni-ZN) coating, engineered for superior wear resistance. The segments are heat-treated, achieving a hardness level of 40-50 HRC.
The handle integrates a contoured, ergonomic H (Anti-slip) grip, crafted with a rugged, non-slip finish from synthetic, anti-allergenic rubber to ensure a reliable and solid grasp.
The Easy-Lock system provides two methods for deploying the baton: either with a traditional swing or by pulling the end of the bar. The latter method is useful when a full swing is not possible due to confined space or when a more discreet opening is necessary. One-handed closure is also possible—simply unlock the Easy Lock by pressing the button at the base of the handle, then push the tip against a surface and fold the baton.
Equipped with a BH-55-A swivel holster crafted from reinforced polypropylene, the baton can be carried on the belt either in a folded or extended position. The holster's design permits carrying the baton at any chosen angle, enabling users to customize the configuration for optimal personal comfort and accessibility.
Included with the product is a universal belt mount UBC-05-A Quick Change System, which enables swift replacement of the baton holster with other holders featuring a rotating mechanism. The UBC-05-A mount accommodates most belts with a width of 38-56 mm and up to 68 mm when the adjustment is removed.
