AUS-8 steel, PVD coating, Liner Lock
The Drop-Point blade is crafted from premium Japanese AUS-8 steel, known for its excellent corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening. Featuring a partially serrated edge, the blade is ground with a high, flat bevel and finished with a tough PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating that boosts scratch resistance, minimizes friction, and guards against rust. To improve control during cutting tasks, there is jimping (textured notching) on the spine where the thumb rests. Mounted on washers, the blade deploys smoothly via a thumb stud accessible from both sides. Secure lockup in the open position is provided by a robust Liner Lock mechanism.
Scales made of durable polyamide, deep-carry clip
Handle scales are crafted from lightweight, robust polyamide PA66, a material known for its resistance to harsh weather conditions, chemicals, and mechanical stress. The handle is equipped with ergonomic finger pads and a non-slip textured surface, ensuring a firm and secure hold. Easy daily carry is enabled by a sturdy deep-carry clip, which makes it possible to attach the knife securely behind a belt or on the edge of a pocket in the tip-down (blade down) configuration. A lanyard hole is integrated at the handle’s end for attaching a safety cable.
