Filled with hydrophobic duck down
The Arran Quilt sleeping bag is designed as a top quilt, featuring no traditional hood or bottom insulation, which eliminates insulation compression during rest and maximizes thermal efficiency. Down insulation is strategically distributed at the front and sides to offer superior cold protection. The filling is made from duck down and feathers in a 92/8 ratio, delivering both thermal comfort and optimal breathability. For enhanced water resistance, the insulation has been treated with DuPont impregnation, slowing moisture absorption and speeding up drying time. With a fill power of 800 cuin, the down ensures outstanding compressibility, enabling the sleeping bag to pack down to a compact size. An extra insulation layer is incorporated in the foot section for added warmth during sleep. To stabilize the down and guarantee uniform cold defense, H-shaped baffles are used to prevent shifting of the insulation.
Central zipper, Anti-Bite system
Central placement of the zipper extends along the entire length and is safeguarded by an Anti-Bite system to eliminate the risk of snags. A fluorescent puller ensures easy operation, even in low-light conditions. The top features a drawcord, adding extra insulation on cold nights. Attachment loops enable secure fixing of a liner, preventing it from shifting during exit from the sleeping bag.
Footbox with drawcord, straps with buckles
