Reading this review you should take into account that I get cold easily. To the point. The sleeping bag is like a thicker sheet. At a room temperature of 22°C at home on an air mattress it’s fine if you lie on your back. On your side, you feel that your back gives off more heat than you’d like. The sleeping bag is compact and light when packed, but the night would have to be especially warm for me to spend the night in it. For those who get cold easily, I recommend getting into the Ardala, which unfortunately as of 13.03.2024 is not available at militaria.pl, or for certainty, go for the next level up in temperature, the Finmark. It is a good and well-made product and I will keep it, but more for use as a light cover for a relaxing hammock trip in the shade, in the middle of a summer day with a gentle breeze, rather than for sleeping at 17°C.

Rugged sleeping bag in Sapphire shade, featuring a mummy-style construction for optimal sleeping comfort and unrestricted movement at night. Crafted from premium Rip-Stop polyester, it boasts a durable outer layer and high-performance Eko Loft Hollowfiber insulation.
Temperatures and usage conditions
Temperature ratings for the Fredvang sleeping bag are determined in accordance with the EN 13537 standard:

- T-comfort: 17 C – lowest temperature at which a woman can remain comfortable throughout the night,

Rip-Stop reinforced polyester, PoliCotton lining
The outer shell constructed from 210T Rip-Stop polyester delivers reliable defense against abrasion and mechanical impacts, significantly reducing the likelihood of further rips. The inner lining, crafted from PoliCotton, merges the comfort of cotton with the strength of polyester, offering a soft touch against the skin while maintaining excellent breathability. This combination renders the sleeping bag ideal for both demanding expeditions and relaxed camping experiences. A small pocket located inside provides convenient storage for essential items, and loops are integrated for securing an additional thermal liner.
Eko Loft Hollowfiber filling
Superior thermal retention is provided by a synthetic Eko Loft Hollowfiber fill, crafted from spirally wound, siliconized polyester fibers. Precision quilting of the shell fabrics stabilizes the insulation, ensuring uniform loft and warmth across the entire bag. The insulation maintains its high-performance thermal properties even after exposure to moisture, repeated laundering, or extensive use. Hypoallergenic qualities make it ideal for individuals sensitive to down.
Right-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
Equipped with a two-way zipper on the right side, the sleeping bag offers the convenience of complete opening from either the top or bottom, simplifying both entry and exit. The integrated Anti-Bite system ensures the zipper runs smoothly without catching the fabric. An internal thermal flap shields the zipper, providing added insulation. Compatible with another sleeping bag from the same series for combined use.
Integrated hood with DUO drawcord
The integrated 3D-shaped hood enhances thermal insulation by encasing the head, effectively minimizing heat escape in cold conditions. Its molded design delivers superior defense against wind and moisture. The Duo drawcord utilizes both an elastic cord and a tape system. Elastic positioned at the neck ensures unrestricted arm movement without the need for adjustment, while the rear tape enables rapid release in targeted areas—particularly beneficial for nighttime use.
Convenient transport and storage
Designed for optimal portability and storage, the model folds down to a compact size of 27 x 14 cm and weighs just 740 g, allowing for effortless transport without adding excess load.

PoliCotton fabric is a blend of polyester and cotton fibers featuring the best qualities of both yarns. Polyester provides strength and flexibility, while cotton provides softness and breathability.
Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.
Anti-Bite is a system that prevents material from getting jammed in the zipper, used in outdoor clothing and equipment. It prevents the fabric from blocking the zipper, which increases the durability of the product and improves the comfort of use, especially in outdoor conditions.
Eko Loft Hollowfiber is a synthetic insulation material used in sleeping bags. It consists of spirally twisted, siliconized polyester fibers of various diameters, which form a system of microchannels filled with air. Thanks to this structure, the filling is warm, resilient and easy to compress. It retains its insulating properties even in a humid environment – it does not absorb moisture, and at the same time allows the removal of water vapor produced by the body. This material provides thermal comfort at low temperatures and is also anti-allergenic.
DUO drawstring in Fjord Nansen sleeping bags is a two-zone adjustment system, which allows you to adjust the hood independently with an elastic band in front and a tape with a lock in the back. This solution makes it easy to quickly adjust the sleeping bag to your body position and personal preferences, without having to leave the interior.

Light and good for spring, summer, and autumn nights in a tent. The zipper catches the material when zipping up, especially when you're already inside, it's dark, and you can't see it while closing the sleeping bag. So far, however, there hasn't been a problem; the material can be easily pulled out of the zipper.
