Very warm sleeping bag and super light - compresses nicely, the down doesn’t come out, the zipper is good and doesn’t jam. It’s easy to get in and out of it. Not sure about 4°C, but it’s fine from 10°C.

Rugged sleeping bag in Blue, designed in a mummy shape to promote ergonomic body alignment and allow for ease of movement during rest. Constructed from premium nylon, with a robust exterior shell and insulated with duck down and feathers.
Temperature and usage conditions
The operating temperatures of the Nordkapp sleeping bag are specified in accordance with EN 13537:
- T-max: 15 deg. C - the highest temperature at which you can sleep in the sleeping bag without overheating,
- T-comfort: 4 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the night,
- T-limit: -1 deg. C - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -16 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which survival in the sleeping bag is possible. This is not a value recommended for standard use.
20D nylon with Water Repellent coating
Constructed with lightweight 20D nylon both inside and out, featuring a hydrophobic WR coating (Water Repellent) to minimize moisture absorption. The treated fabric offers enhanced resistance to wet conditions. Equipped with a small pocket for essential items and loops designed for securing an additional thermal liner internally.
Duck down fill, H-shaped construction
Superior thermal insulation and effective air flow are secured using Polish duck down in a 91/9 ratio. Equipped with 700 cuin loft down, the bag offers excellent compressibility, making it easy to pack to a compact size. The H-shaped baffle construction keeps the down evenly distributed, eliminating shifting or clumping. Enhanced foot warmth is achieved with a drawcord-style footbox that features an additional down layer.
Left-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
Equipped with a two-way SBS zipper on the left side, the bag can be fully unzipped from both the top and bottom for rapid entry. A fluorescent puller allows for effortless use in low-light conditions. The Anti-Bite system ensures the fabric remains free from snags, while an interior thermal baffle shields the zipper, enhancing insulation.
Integrated hood with cold protection, DUO drawcord
Enhanced thermal insulation is delivered by the integrated 3D hood, which wraps securely around the head to minimize heat loss. The ergonomic design also guards effectively against wind and moisture. Featuring a Duo drawcord system that fuses elastic and tape, the elastic section around the neck allows for hand extension without readjustment, while the rear tape provides swift release — a practical advantage in low-light conditions.

The sleeping bag works well. At 172 cm tall, it’s comfortable enough. In terms of comfort, 5-6°C is still okay, but around 0°C, even with socks and thermal underwear, it was a bit lacking in comfort.

Great. Small and pleasant sleeping bag. It’s delicate. I sleep comfortably down to 5°C. I think if it gets colder, I’ll have to sew a cover (bivy) from quilted fabric, about 2 layers, and then it should be possible to sleep down to around -2°C.
