Lightweight mummy-style sleeping bag engineered for optimal comfort and freedom of movement during rest. Constructed from premium Rip-Stop nylon, the bag is equipped with a durable shell and insulated with high-quality goose down.
Temperatures and usage conditions
Operational temperature ratings for the Bivak sleeping bag comply with the EN 13537 standard:
- T-comfort: 13 deg. C – represents the lowest temperature at which a female sleeper can remain comfortably asleep throughout the night,
- T-limit: 8 deg. C – indicates the minimum temperature at which a male sleeper can rest without feeling cold or discomfort,
- T-extreme: -3 deg. C – marks the lowest survivable temperature in the sleeping bag; prolonged use at this range is not advised.
10D Rip-Stop nylon with Water Repellent coating
Lightweight 10D Rip-Stop nylon is used for both the outer and inner layers, finished with a hydrophobic WR coating (Water Repellent) to minimize moisture uptake. The Rip-Stop construction provides strong resistance to abrasions and mechanical stress, effectively preventing further tearing. The interior includes a small pocket for storing accessories and loops designed for securing an insulating liner.
Goose down filling, H-chamber construction
Superior thermal insulation and optimal air circulation are guaranteed by Polish goose down in a 93+/7 blend. Featuring a high fill power of 900 cuin, the down delivers outstanding compressibility, making it possible to reduce the sleeping bag to a compact size. The H-shaped chamber construction keeps the down evenly distributed, preventing it from bunching or moving. Enhanced foot warmth is provided by a drawstring footbox equipped with an additional down layer for greater thermal comfort.
Left-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
Equipped with a two-way zipper positioned on the left side, the sleeping bag can be opened from the top for effortless entry and exit. The fluorescent puller ensures the zipper is easily visible in low light conditions. Thanks to the Anti-Bite system, the fabric is safeguarded from getting caught in the zipper mechanism. An internal thermal baffle extends alongside the zipper to provide added warmth.
Integrated hood with DUO drawcord
The integrated 3D hood delivers superior thermal insulation by encasing the head and minimizing heat escape in cold environments. Its construction also provides effective defense against wind and damp conditions. The Duo drawcord utilizes both elastic and strap elements. Elastic material around the neck permits free hand movement without frequent readjustment, while the rear strap enables rapid loosening—especially advantageous for night operations.
