The only drawback is the fabric 'sides' of the pouch, which have something like protrusions at the top, and these catch on the magazine when inserting it. Once it’s in, it sits securely, but it's not as easy as it should be.

The pouch works well, easily fits AR and AK magazines (although they stick out quite a bit, which might be bothersome). I think even larger magazines, like those from the M14 or Dragunov, could fit and be held securely. The magazines stay in place fairly well, but for safety it's worth using the blocking rubber band. One downside is that it's difficult to connect two pouches together. Another inconvenience is the length of the rubber bands—when they are tightened, they stick out a lot and there's no way to tuck them in.

Good magazine pouch, allows for very fast magazine draw and there is no risk of the magazine falling out on its own.

Very nice pouch, it can hold AK and AR standard magazines as well as other items of similar size, such as a radio. I recommend this product.
