MultiCam represents an advanced camouflage pattern introduced in 2002 by Crye Precision, a US-based company, in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as a component of the Objective Force Warrior initiative. MultiCam has achieved international acclaim, being selected by multiple military forces and special operations units worldwide. In 2010, it became the standard camouflage for US Army personnel deployed in Afghanistan, replacing the former Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP).
