The shorts are beautiful, comfortable, and practical. I wear them all the time. The only downside is the wide, stiff, and uncomfortable Velcro — I take off one star for that. After removing the Velcro and replacing it with a button — perfect.

Tactical shorts UTS (Urban Tactical Shorts) are crafted from premium PolyCotton RipStop (60% cotton, 37% polyester, 3% elastane) fabric with a weight of 200 g/m2, renowned for outstanding durability against wear and tears.
A modern fit, strengthened stitching, and selected materials guarantee optimal freedom of movement. With numerous pockets thoughtfully positioned, these shorts are ideal for both city use and outdoor operations.
Designed with ten functional pockets:
- two standard hip pockets with reinforced edges
- four thigh pockets (two large with zippers, two slim with Velcro closures)
- four back pockets (two spacious and two smaller ones located inside the larger pockets)
In place of a button, a wide Velcro closure provides 6 cm of adjustability. An elastic band integrated into the waistband enhances comfort and personal fit. All zippers are sourced from the reputable Japanese brand YKK.
Belt loops accommodate belts up to 50 mm wide, and the two front loops feature additional attachments, suitable for items such as carabiners.

The shorts turned out to be very practical and comfortable for everyday wear. They have plenty of roomy pockets, which is great because you can always have your phone or other things at hand without having to carry an extra bag. The material is sturdy and durable, but doesn't restrict movement, so they're suitable both for walks in the city and more active situations. A great choice if you value functionality and comfort.

These are my third UTS, but the first with a 6" inseam. Shorter legs mean better ventilation. The number and layout of the pockets are the same as in the longer versions. Great color and very good stitching.

The shorts are perfectly tailored, and the leg length in this model is ideal. If someone doesn’t like shorts that reach to the knees or lower, the 6" will be a good choice. Besides that, the shorts offer plenty of pockets. I definitely recommend them.

This is already the fifth color (sixth pair) of UTS I've bought. Excellent so-called tactical shorts (I wrote "so-called" not to offend those who claim shorts can't be tactical :-). I also use the long UTP version and what I can say is that I have never (I'm 55) had pants with such brilliantly designed and functional pockets. This time, it's the first 6" and I'm very happy because this length is perfect for hot days. Tested on mountain hikes in the 7" version, which I got from 10" (that's the length I received from the factory: 8.5" and shortened before Helikon introduced the 6") and this length is my best shorts for mountain hikes on very warm days. I RECOMMEND!!!

The shorts are excellently tailored, the length of the legs in this model is perfect. If you don’t like shorts reaching the knees or lower, the 6" will be a good choice. I had the option to choose size M and S. Size M turned out to be too big at the waist. Besides that, the shorts offer plenty of pockets. I definitely recommend them.

In short -- HELIKON. The company is simply amazing. Everything I have with the Helikon logo is top class. These shorts from this collection are the second pair I've ordered. This time for my son. We have different body builds. I order XL for myself, my son M, and after measuring beforehand, it was enough to just click the right size for us. The shorts arrived as if they were tailor-made. And that's right after putting them on for the first time. After the first wash and about a week of wear, they fit so well that even if I tried, I couldn't find anything to complain about. There are a ton of pockets for shorts and their placement deserves the highest praise. The price matches the quality. The material they are made from is a bit thicker than, for example, OTS or OTUS models. It's certainly not too hot in them. RIP Stop is a strong material and thinner than Canvas. I recommend with a clear conscience.

Very strong, solidly made, and durable shorts. The quality of workmanship is more than high. The number of pockets is astonishing. The sizing, at least in my case, is downright perfect. As if they were tailored for me.

Recommended for ladies! In the long version I wear UTP in women's version, but unfortunately Helikon doesn't make women's shorts except for OTP, which fit tight even in size XL on a female figure. After various attempts to fit UTS 8.5", I finally ended up with the 6" version and it's perfect. I usually wear 40/L, here M fits great. The khaki color appears more beige in the photos than in reality.

This is already the fourth pair of Helikon shorts in my closet. The previous ones were OTS and OTUS. These are stiffer than those, but of course, they are made of different material. All Helikon shorts, like all Helikon products, are top class and of the highest quality. Truly outstanding. The workmanship, materials, seams, and zippers are simply number one. Just like with the Helikon pants (of which I have ten pairs), it's the pockets that make the difference — they are practically everywhere. Their arrangement and depth deserve the highest praise.

I am very satisfied with the quality of the material and the cut. The UTS pants are gorgeous and I think it's good that Helikon also released the shortest version of them. Very suitable for summer, very comfortable, I will only buy Helikon pants from now on, they convinced me.
