The gaiters perfectly fulfilled their role; they served as a source of Cordura fabric to sew a cover for a helmet since the best camouflage on the market was no longer being produced.
Calf protectors engineered for traversing challenging terrain. Offering superior defense against snow, water, mud, brush, and rocks, these gaiters are crafted from waterproof, abrasion-resistant, and tear-proof nylon, enhanced with flexible, breathable VersaStretch® panels.
Secured with a durable Velcro closure running the full length, the protectors attach to footwear via a metal hook that grips the shoelace. An adjustable strap constructed from hypalon, a material renowned for exceptional abrasion and weather resistance, ensures a snug fit.
Providing outstanding protection for pants against dirt, moisture, and damage, the gaiters shield the legs from knee to ankle, including the upper section of boots. Such coverage prevents debris from penetrating boots or footwear.

Woodland Camouflage
Woodland, frequently referred to as US Woodland or M81, is an iconic camouflage design introduced to the U.S. military in the early 1980s, drawing inspiration from the earlier ERDL camo. Serving as the standard issue pattern for the U.S. military for more than twenty years, it maintained its prominence until the close of the first decade of the 21st century. Characterized by sizeable, irregular shapes in green, brown, beige, and black hues, the pattern delivers exceptional concealment and camouflage, particularly within wooded environments. Renowned for its effectiveness and instantly recognizable worldwide, it has led to countless adaptations now utilized by over 60 different military organizations globally. Its significant impact extends beyond military applications, influencing popular culture and making its way into civilian fashion.

Gaiters are a very useful thing for hiking, and these particular ones from Helikon have some cool improvements. They protect the lower part of the pants and the boot's upper from mud, dirt, snow, and with waterproof boots, they create a sort of 'rubber boot' effect ; ) These ones fasten with a wide, durable Velcro. This solution has its pros and cons, but it's definitely less prone to failure. The hook for the shoelace is made of plastic; a metal hook would be more likely to damage the laces. The adjustment is done with a wide strap and a drawstring. These gaiters are good equipment.

Great leg protection. So far they are working excellently, I can't complain. Perfect for autumn days. Easy to clean, I can confidently recommend them. While walking in the forest, they not only protect against mud or water but also just as well against vegetation.
-
Super quality, thoughtful design, and most importantly, a domestic manufacturer. I can't comment on user impressions because I bought the gaiters as a donor of Cordura in wildwood camo to make another piece of equipment, but they definitely deserve a good review ;)

Gaiters, you can live and walk without them, but once you put them on for a hike in the forest, you immediately change your mind. An essential part of the wardrobe for all walkers and mushroom pickers. You can also spray them with tick repellent, so then even ticks aren’t a problem :)

I bought these as another attempt to find gaiters for people with sizeable legs, but these are not it. The general build of the gaiters is fine and they are good on features, but they won't fit a leg that measures 40+cm diameter under the knee. A friend is using them now, and he's very happy with them.

At this price, it's really a good choice. Good design and craftsmanship. The Velcro at the front of the shoe suits my taste. Convenient solution. The elastic material at the back makes them fit snugly to the leg, which also ensures comfort. As for durability, I'll comment in a few years.

Solid gaiters, made from good materials and they’re quite breathable too. A must-have for winter mountain hikes. They make it easy to break trails in fresh snow.
-
Very comfortable gaiters… Finish quality at a high level, materials too… fastened at the front with Velcro and a buckle, obviously also a hook for laces, at the back a breathable VersaStretch panel… camo Wildwood - nice

Very good gaiters. Good quality materials, they do not let water through. Bought mainly as something to treat against ticks when walking in the woods, rather than for wading through dew and snow. I am satisfied with the purchase, especially for the promotional price.

The craftsmanship is one of the best when it comes to gaiters. Great color, thoughtful stitching and solutions. Very practical, excellent quality components. I think they will last a long time. I have never been disappointed with this company's products. I recommend.

Strong gaiters that work well both in snow and in rain/mud. When properly fitted, they hold well and are very easy and quick to put on. They look awesome. The only downside is relatively poor breathability (at least I think so), so during heavy exercise your calves may sweat.
-
One star less for the 'universal size' – it's difficult to fasten if you have a bigger calf. However, the gaiters themselves are very solidly made, the materials used are of high quality, so I definitely recommend them for any hikes in demanding terrain.

Great quality, very durable and hardly rustle, used in marshes, peat bogs, and wetlands, in damp areas. They did not let in moisture. Cordura and VersaStretch are very strong and held up in tough terrain; I am waiting for winter to test them in the mountains.
