Tiger Stripe represents a family of camouflage patterns that originated in Southeast Asia, with its most recognized version being created in the Republic of Vietnam. Inspired by the French Lizard pattern, Tiger Stripe was modified to better suit tropical environments. Characterized by irregular, brushstroke-like stripes in various shades of green and brown, the pattern also incorporates wider, grayish lines set against an olive or khaki background. Such a composition excels in dense jungle and tropical forest terrain, where it effectively disrupts the wearer’s outline among low and mid-level vegetation. Camouflage efficiency is heightened, making detection from short distances more challenging and enabling seamless integration with dynamic, shadow-rich foliage.
