I bought it as described - as a second layer over close-fitting merino wool long johns and a level 1 undershirt, also from Helikon-Tex. First impressions - excellent. The underwear is warm, well cut, and does not restrict movement. I really like that the sweatshirt zipper unzips very low, which improves ventilation of the whole set when, for example, I am moving with a backpack. The high collar protects the neck well, while at the same time it does not chafe and fits nicely with the next layers (fleece, jacket). With my height of 172 cm and a very slim build, size M turned out to be a little too big, but only slightly (mainly the long johns were sticking out a bit too much in the crotch). In the end, I exchanged it for size S, but I could easily have kept size M too and I know I would have been satisfied with it.

Underwear or not underwear. I spent September on forest hikes, and this set served as… pajamas. A great outfit for hammock camping. The temperature at night was 8–9°C. There was quite a lot of condensation. I hadn’t packed a balaclava, so my bald head was getting cold, but the Helikon pajamas were first-class. The only downside in this use is that the pants can slip down. Since it is formally underwear, it has no drawstrings, elastic adjusters, let alone belt loops. However, over a meter (sic!) :-))) of paracord ensured a peaceful sleep. Very nice material. Excellent cut. The thumb openings are brilliant. I haven’t tested it strictly as underwear under clothing, but spending the night in this set in early autumn weather gave me a calm, warm sleep. I recommend this kind of use. It retains warmth.

The fleece pleasantly surprised me. It is lightweight, warm, and comfortable, which makes it perfect for autumn and winter days. The material feels nice to the touch, and the sweatshirt fits the body well. The zipper works smoothly, and the seams are carefully made. For this price, the quality is ნამდვილად very good.

I used it this winter at work, so I already have some observations. For work where you know there will be a lot of movement, it's a bit poorly breathable, which ends up making you sweat, and it's made of material that isn't necessarily pleasant to wear when it's wet. As the name suggests, I would treat this as a second layer, and in the fall, you can use it as a softshell if you have bought a size larger. If you put some long-sleeve merino underneath, you'll have a really solid layer on you. For outdoor work, I would rather choose wool, but for camping where there isn't as much movement, it works great.

A big plus for the quality of workmanship. Combined with the first layer, the thermal comfort is at a good level. It retains heat very well and wicks away sweat excellently. A great purchase.

The best underwear you can buy here on the site, I already own 2 sets. It will be the warmest when combined with LVL1. The size matches the size chart. After a long period of intensive use, I can say that it does not pill.

Extremely comfortable jacket, excellent cut, very warm and effectively wicks away moisture. While rollerblading at 70 km/h and -5°C, I didn't feel cold. Excellent product, highly recommended!

Comfortable set, very cozy. Together with level 1 it goes perfectly under a jacket on cold winter evenings. The quality matches its price. I'm 183 cm tall and weigh 74 kg, size L is suitable for me—not very tight, but not very loose either.

This underwear is a great thing. It retains body heat very well and the waffle structure makes sweat moisture more effectively wicked away outside. I wear it during activity in winter and in spring or autumn if I need to stay still or sleep outdoors.

187cm - XL and you don't know what frost is, you can even start wishing for frost ;) It's as if you've installed a set of radiators around you. Pure pleasure to wear. I don't complain about the zipper, probably because I have thick skin :)

Very warm underwear set. Tested both in training conditions as a liner under uniform trousers and as pajamas. Works well at temperatures around -10 degrees. Thicker and warmer than LVL1. Solid workmanship means nothing comes apart.
