The Helikon-Tex U.S. Model poncho makes an amazing impression right after being taken out of the packaging. The rip-stop fabric is lightweight, yet at the same time seems extremely durable and resistant to damage. The seams are precisely taped, which guarantees full waterproofness, and the material does not tend to absorb moisture. The design is well thought out in every detail. The poncho is spacious enough to easily cover not only your body, but also a large expedition backpack. A huge plus are the sturdy snaps and metal eyelets on the edges – thanks to them it can easily be transformed into an emergency shelter (tarp) or connected to another poncho. The hood is conveniently adjustable, which makes it easier to fit to your head. Another advantage is its compactness – when folded into the included pouch, it takes up a minimal amount of space and weighs next to nothing, so it fits in any luggage. At this price, it's an absolutely unrivaled product for anyone looking for reliable and versatile weather protection. I highly recommend it!

A very roomy poncho that also fits a backpack and gear; the snaps work without any problems when fastening, though the hood could be a bit bigger. It is lightweight and does not take up much space when packed into its cover. Bought during the summer sale, it wasn’t expensive.
-
A poncho like this is basic gear for a rainy trip. Even the best backpack cover won’t protect you as well as covering yourself with a poncho. I recommend it.
-
Very small when packed and lightweight, noticeably more compact than most sets consisting of a rain jacket and trousers. The hood could be a bit roomier, because with a larger head circumference or when worn over a cap, it turns out to be right on the edge of fitting.
-
I won't write anything more than what everyone here has already said: very solid, durable, and effective as an emergency tarp poncho – I recommend it and it's a "must have" if you need a "multi-tool".
-
The biggest advantage of the poncho is its versatility, and the biggest downside in my opinion is the lack of fit—it just flaps around. This Helikon poncho is well made, you can connect two together, and you can also make a shelter from just one. It can fit a backpack underneath, but not a very large one, about 25l. An interesting alternative to a rain jacket, but definitely not for everyone.
-
From the advantages: - tarp function - for me (and I am 165 cm tall) sufficient - well made - the possibility to tie it from underneath so it doesn't get blown by the wind - can be connected to Swagman - easy compression, BUT... From the disadvantages: - ...takes up quite a lot of space when packed and... - ...a bit heavy (for ponchos in a similar class), but manageable - Helikon is pricey and you can feel it in your wallet - relatively small opening for the head

This poncho is extremely versatile and offers great value for money. It provides excellent coverage, especially when I wear a backpack. I also appreciate the option to adjust the hood for a better fit. We bought two of the same ponchos, which allows us to connect them or use them as a tarp to protect the tent.

A classic poncho that works well as protection against rain in the field. The material is durable, the hood is comfortable, and the size also allows you to cover your backpack. The wz.93 pattern looks very good.
-
Very sturdy poncho, the material seems indestructible. It helped a lot during a mountain downpour while descending from the summit. The spacious design allows you to put the poncho on while wearing a backpack, so all your gear along with you stays dry. Once packed, it takes up very little space. Great product.

In short - last year the Mystic Festival in Gdańsk took place underwater. Both figuratively and literally, because at times it rained so hard you could swim. Luckily, there were a few boats lying around in the shipyard... While the most durable metals fled to B90 (don't say there were better bands there, because no one will believe it), I just stood there and didn't even notice it was raining.

This is a regular poncho that works when you need simple rain protection without extra features. You put it on quickly and you stay dry, and the Pantera camo pattern blends perfectly with the forest environment. It's great that you can fit a backpack underneath, so you don't have to worry about a wet back, which often happens with other jackets. The downside is that the poncho moves around a lot in the wind and without proper fastenings, it can be annoying. Also, when walking faster, it gets quite warm and stuffy under the poncho because the ventilation isn't the best. Overall, it's a very practical solution for rain in the forest and trips – you just need to know how to attach and fit it properly.
-
Simple and practical poncho. It can be connected with others into a tent or something like a tarp – in that case, it's good if more friends have exactly these ponchos, because it's harder to fasten them with others. I recommend it!
-
Compact, handles every rain. Tested in the field. I added 4 bungee ropes and it's a great tarp. I checked with a friend how it connects and it works well to make a shelter for two people.
-
As always with Helikon, an excellent product. The materials used and the craftsmanship result in solid and durable equipment with a low weight. A Polish product, I highly recommend it.
